Warehouse Internal & External Protection
A growing warehouse business reached out to improve safety across both their internal operations and external loading areas. As activity increased across the site, there was a need for better control of forklift movement and clearer separation of key areas. The focus was to create a safer working environment without disrupting day-to-day operations. We worked closely with the client to deliver a practical solution suited to how their site runs.
Problem
A growing warehouse business approached us as they were starting to see more forklift traffic both inside the warehouse and around their external loading areas. There were no clear pedestrian walkways in place, and key areas like roller doors, building corners and racking ends were exposed to potential damage.
Solution
We attended site and worked through both the internal and external areas with the client to understand how traffic was moving day to day.
Inside the warehouse, we installed guard railing to create clear pedestrian walkways and added end-of-aisle barriers to protect the racking. Externally, we supplied and installed heavy-duty bollards to protect roller doors, building corners and access points. We also added speed humps to slow down vehicle movement through the loading area.
Outcome
The warehouse now has clear separation between pedestrians and forklifts, and key areas are protected from impact.
The external yard is also safer, with better speed control and protection around high-risk zones.
